AssuredID for Right to Work and ID verification

Use AssuredID to verify the identity and right to work status of your potential and current employees.

Under the UK Digital Identity & Attributes Trust Framework, the Home Office and DCMS allow for DI & right to work verification through cutting edge document and biometric analysis technology.

This allows employers in the UK to verify the identity and right to work of their potential and current employees completely remotely providing enhanced security and efficiency for employers and improved candidate experience.

The candidate will need to take a picture of their identity/right to work document and take a short selfie video to capture their facial biometrics. This allows AssuredID to verify that their document is valid, they are a real person, and they are the same person pictured in their document.

Standard DBS

A standard criminal record check details all criminal history; cautions, warnings, reprimands and convictions.

This type of check is a mandatory requirement for individuals working in certain roles of high responsibility such as lawyers, accountants or individuals that have access to sensitive medical information and is essential to eliminating risk to your organisation, employees, and customers.

Standard disclosure turnaround times vary between different statutory authorities & with the suppliers who process checks, you should expect a check to take no more than two weeks.

*Using AssuredID will remove the need for you to verify the candidate's identity. Please note you will be asked for the candidate's full, email address, and mobile number. 

**On the candidate details screen, there is no need for you to upload identity. There will also be a tick box asking if you have verified the candidate's identification. Please tick this box to proceed, the verification will be handled by AssuredID.
