Organisations we work with

Due to be launched in 2020, ASCOR is the first cross government association protecting worker rights in the gig economy whilst also assisting hirers. This is a working group made up of organisations such as Home Office, DBS, HMRC, GLAA, Care Quality Commission, and DLME which Keith Rosser is chair of. ASCOR is a free resource with the primary aim of helping workers in the flexible economy as well as hirers with procurement and ensuring they have a compliant and transparent supply chain.
Reed Screening are a member of the Europe Council for the main global Screening industry trade association, thr Professional Background Screening Association (PBSA). Reed Screening also provide the secretariat for the body. The PBSA was established to represent companies offering employment and tenant screening services across the globe. The Reed Screening role on this committee is to bring all the work we do with the various government organisations together with the needs of private sector businesses to ensure a collaborative public and private sector partnership.
Reed Screening Chair the Criminal Records Trade Body (CRTB). We are the only recruitment and vetting company within the founding organisations. The CRTB was set up to support the UK's safeguarding agenda, to influence policy, protect job seekers from abuse and promote fairness in the employment of people with convictions. The Trade Body are currently working on a formal collaboration plan with the DBS and supporting in shaping the 2025 DBS strategy.

Keith Rosser is the Chair of SAFER Jobs, which is a non profit, joint industry and law enforcement organisation designed to offer free advice to job seekers and prevent job seeker fraud. Over the last 12 months, SAFER Jobs has prevented over £0.5m of fraud, raised awareness of job scams at a national level by appearing on the radio, BBC television and in the press. SAFER Jobs obtained GOV UK status in 2015 and a Patron at the House of Lords in 2016.
Reed Screening sit on the Advisory Panel of the Association for Online Due Diligence (AFODD). The purpose of AFODD is to help employers make sense of social media screening. We are working to create a UK framework on what, how, when to use social media screening and what to do with any information discovered.
Reed Screening sit on the Cifas Advisory Board and are the vetting lead. Cifas is the UK's largest cross-sector fraud sharing organisation. The Advisory Board has delegated responsibility to monitor the operational effectiveness of Cifas, to represent stakeholders, including Cifas members and members of the public and to advise the Executive Board.
Reed Screening have been appointed a Non Executive Board Member of Disclosure Scotland. This is an Executive Agency within the Scottish Government that operates on behalf of Scottish Ministers to support Disclosure Scotland in hitting their strategic goals whilst ensuring thorough governance and a focus on customer journey. We also support employers to make safer decisions when recruiting. We are also the Chair of the Stakeholder Advisory Board bringing together multiple stakeholders from a variety of backgrounds to discuss police checks in Scotland.
Reed Screening are a key member of the All Party Parliamentary Group on Digital Identity and have spoken in Parliament on a number of occasions on this subject. Reed Screening have also sponsored an APPG Inquiry into improving employee screening for business which included a report to Ministers and several roundtables in Parliament.
